In 3 words, describe your brand.

Really delicious vapes.

What has been your biggest challenge and how your team has overcome it?

Last year, we were involved in a lawsuit with big tobacco which forced us to change our branding within six months. Not only was it a huge challenge to overhaul a seven-year old brand, but it was also a tremendous logistical undertaking. For the branding, we worked with a talented agency who helped us create new branding basically overnight. Our team then MacGyvered the logistics to get everything done on time for our launch, which was right in the middle of a global supply chain issue that the whole industry faced.

What are some upcoming innovations/projects you are most excited for?

I’m most excited about the new disposable vape platform we launched last month, dubbed the “Surf”. Due to the airflow design, it hits like a low temp dab that retains all the flavor. We’re going to double down on this platform by increasing the capacity later this year as well as explore a pod system based on this technology. I urge everyone to give it a try; you can find it at over 100 stores in California and also direct through our website.

Any future predictions/trends you foresee in your product category?

Definitely the rise of solventless (rosin) seems like the next step beyond live resin. The product is very expensive to make so the challenge for operators will be if they can reach proper economies of scale for this product. We’re bullish on it at BLOOM; we're doing R&D currently and expect some major breakthroughs this year.
