What has been your biggest challenge and how your team has overcome it?
Mother nature. It was a long and dark winter in Carpinteria, CA where we tend to over a million square feet of cannabis cultivation. The sun has finally returned creating healthy, happy and potent plants once again.
What are some upcoming innovations/projects you are most excited for?
We are the largest cultivator of THCv flower and extracts in CA and just launched a full suite of THCv products.
THCv is a minor cannabinoid we are incredibly excited about as it provides a unique experience by delivering an energizing and uplifting high, ideal for lucid and active moments.
Any future predictions/trends you foresee in your product category?
Building on the success of functional beverages, mushrooms and other CPG products, cannabis will start heading into head that direction as well. We think we will slowly see a shift away from only high THC products and consumers will seek out cannabis based on certain experiences, and use cases. We've already planted our flag in this space so to speak with THCv.
